Benkyo-kai
I am organising a Japanese Teaching Assistant study group in Perth.
What is Benkyo-kai?
Benkyo-kai is a monthly study group of native teachers, tutors and Japanese Teaching Assistants. The study group is supported by the Japanese Language Advisor of the Department of Education. The group aims to promote best practice of teaching Japanese as a second language.
このBenkyo-kaiは月に１度、日本語教師や補助教員、家庭教師などの有志が集まって行っています。
まだパースに来て間もないアシスタントの方を仕事の面でもプライベートの面でも助けながら、オーストラリアの生徒への日本語の教え方や日本文化の伝え方について意見交換をしたりしています。
経験不足の補助教員同士では成り立たないこの勉強会はオーストラリアの教育省や公立高校、国際交流基金や教育委員会を代表されて来豪されている方々にも参加頂き、大変貴重なアドバイスを頂いています。
あくまでも有志の集まりですので参加の有無は自由。そしてもちろん無料です。
日本語補助教員、もしくは日本語教師の方でパース在住であれば、参加頂けます！
Open Benkyo-kai
We had a Japanese Language workshop in November 2013 at Hyogo Cultural Center in City Beach. Topics included "manzai", global education and grammar. We had more than 20 attendants and they enjoyed our workshop and found it useful. We are thinking to have another open Benkyo-kai this year too. Please keep us updated and join us at our next open Benkyo-kai.
２０１３年１１月、この勉強会をメンバー以外の方とも共有したいという意見に賛同頂いた兵庫文化交流センター（City beach)にてオープン勉強会を行いました。２０名を超える日本語や日本文化に興味がある方に集まって頂き、大盛況で終えることできました。
兵庫県からの交換教師の先生方が発表された漫才を活用したアクティビティは人気を博し、オープン勉強会がきっかけとなって さまざまな学校、研修会での出張ワークショップが展開されました。
２０１４年の今年も開催できるように準備したいと思っています。
